Develop local manufacturing & assembly of EVs, parts, and batteries, supported by knowledge, training, verification and certification.
Byron Central Hospital EV Charging
NEVCE recommended a supply solution to provide a standard carpark distribution board (150A 3 phase) with a single 175 meter supply cable from the Main Switchboard with a new 100mm conduit in garden beds.

Submission to the National Electric Vehicle Strategy Consultation
In October 2022, NEVCE submitted six key recommendations to the Federal Government’s National Electric Vehicle Strategy. The proposal urged a robust fuel efficiency standard by January 2024, clear EV adoption targets, purchase incentives, nationwide charging infrastructure, support for electric trucks and buses, and domestic EV manufacturing to accelerate Australia’s transition to a zero-emission transport future.

The Trans-Digital Tool
Electric-bus fleet planners (e.g., Batik Solo Trans in Solo, Indonesia) rely on BetterFleet, which requires data in GTFS format. The existing Excel-macro workflow is slow, error-prone and complicated. TRANS DIGITAL—built by Team VINC (UC Capstone, NEVCE partner)—automates the conversion, slashes processing time, and shows routes on a map so planners can spot mistakes instantly.

KONEKSI – Australia-Indonesia Knowledge Partnership Platform
KONEKSI supports equitable knowledge partnerships between Australian and Indonesian organisations, leveraging local knowledge to address socio-economic challenges. It engages diverse stakeholders from academia, government, civil society, and the private sector to co-design multidisciplinary solutions.
